Can someone please give me the measurements of a Starship Troopers Warrior Bug from the miniatures game by Mongoose.

Thank you.

Because the bugs are a multi-part pose-able kit you can make them very tall or very short depending on the leg poses. They tend to be between 40mm and 50mm

Same applies to width/depth, can be variable depending on how you build them, but about 3" square or so.

Starship Troopers gets nowhere near enough live in the gaming community.

You might look into the Micromachine SST miniatures for a smaller scale. Also rebel Mini's has some of the later pieces from the game in their stock.

@Gorgrat:

Agreed. It's a solid game but Mongoose just took on too many projects and drowned themselves. Really wish someone had the money to resurrect it….

Agreed all. Our group has been on a binge of SST games lately. Have been painting again on the project for the last year plus. I am slow but steady. Still making purchases. In fact I just made a deal here on TMP and added another 15 Warriors to the collective.

Viper, I have one bug not assembled. If individual part measurements are what you are seeking, we will need to communicate directly. If this is what you are seeking please contact me: dmebustatyahoodotcom

What killed SST for me was the scale.

The big minis were impressive, but given the force sizes this would have benefitted from being in a smaller scale – somewhere between 25/32mm and Epic scale.

For a time I was trying to set up a game using 15 mm. But other projects got more attention and this fell by the wayside.

Maybe someday I'll look at it again, now that I have my resin printer.
