Can someone please give me the measurements of a Starship Troopers Warrior Bug from the miniatures game by Mongoose. Thank you. |

Because the bugs are a multi-part pose-able kit you can make them very tall or very short depending on the leg poses. They tend to be between 40mm and 50mm |

Same applies to width/depth, can be variable depending on how you build them, but about 3" square or so. |

Starship Troopers gets nowhere near enough live in the gaming community. |

You might look into the Micromachine SST miniatures for a smaller scale. Also rebel Mini's has some of the later pieces from the game in their stock. |

@Gorgrat: Agreed. It's a solid game but Mongoose just took on too many projects and drowned themselves. Really wish someone had the money to resurrect it…. |

Agreed all. Our group has been on a binge of SST games lately. Have been painting again on the project for the last year plus. I am slow but steady. Still making purchases. In fact I just made a deal here on TMP and added another 15 Warriors to the collective. |

Viper, I have one bug not assembled. If individual part measurements are what you are seeking, we will need to communicate directly. If this is what you are seeking please contact me: dmebustatyahoodotcom |

What killed SST for me was the scale. The big minis were impressive, but given the force sizes this would have benefitted from being in a smaller scale – somewhere between 25/32mm and Epic scale. For a time I was trying to set up a game using 15 mm. But other projects got more attention and this fell by the wayside. Maybe someday I'll look at it again, now that I have my resin printer. |
