chicagotoysoldiershow.com A heads up to anyone within reasonable driving distance of Chicagoland. Although the date of the "show" is Sunday the 26th (10am-3pm), there is room trading during the week. I'll be room trading on Friday and Saturday, as well as having tables on Sunday. Look for Fortress and Fleet in the visitor guide, or keep an eye out for my sweet table banners on Sunday! If you stop by during room trading, there is a very good chance I'll be serving wine. |

It is a great show with a large amount of vendors and displays. Be sure to stop by the HMGS-Midwest booth for chapter updates and a raffle. |

One day I hope to get there. I second the request for pictures. |

Is this a show where one could find 54mm AWI figs for gaming at reasonable prices? Since Tim shut down ATKM I have been having a hard time finding suitable figs. Thanks |

@tribune, not really. You will find prepainted collectors figures, and you will find plastics from LOD, etc., but you will not find anyone producing cast metal figures like ATKM did. I've certainly never seen it, nor do I know anyone in the US that casts 54s for the gaming market. |

It is more like a huge flea market. I went to the room trading on Thursday afternoon and purchased way too many things. :^) I haven't gone to the actual show on Sunday in quite a while. You can find a large variety of old and new figures, plastic and metal. Well worth attending. There were plenty of plastic 54mm AWI figures available. |
