Back in the 1980's, there were some commercial dungeon tiles produced, made of cardstock. The terrain in the photo reminds me of an ad in Dragon magazine for such tiles. Back in the 80's, such dungeon tiles were cutting edge. Some of that 80's 'cutting edge' stuff is comparable to modern offerings within the PDF 2D terrain market on DriveThruRPG. Makes me smile: we weren't so backward, back then, after all. Thanks for sharing, Bill. Cheers! |

Good times. Hard to tell what's going on in the picture, but I wasn't there. As the blog post says, the purpose was to freeze frame the cliffhanger for next game session. |
