I took a photo of them, but can't figure out how to load it onto TMP.

Anyway, they are a set of brown, slightly metallic, marbled dice, one each of D 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, percentile and 20. They only come in the one color, but they look as nice as anything I've seen.

I have absolutely no need of dice, and am just starting a new job, and I still bought four sets!

Only 4 sets? noob :)
Thanks for the heads up.

Have to confess to really not liking marbled dice. Otherwise, great find.

These look really good. The marbling is faint, and the numbering is an easily visible bright white that can be seen from across a 6' table with no problem.

I bought three sets last week. I may buy a few more, just because…

There is no such thing as having too many dice.

However, there can be such a thing as too small house…

advocate16 Sep 2021 3:24 p.m. PST

Actually, they look OK. Shame the savings wouldn't justify the plane tickets…

Those look cool, I'll have to check out a local Dollar Store … lol.

gorgat, I tried a while back. Short answer is that to place an image on TMP, you have to place it elsewhere on the Net, and then use a link. There's no way to link to a saved image on your computer. Most of the guys seem to have created some sort of image account, or have a blog.

Those don't look bad. But I have a sweater box of regular dice sorted by color and number of sides, and another sweater box of custom--DAV, directionals, logos and whatever. For a third sweater box, I'd have to get rid of troops or terrain.

^^Well we can't have that.

An excellent argument for paper flats and flat terrain, by the way. My collection has grown, since I've been a member of TMP, to slightly over 3,000 figures, and with flat terrain andall, it fits on the closet shelf above my suits.

Sadly, there seems to be no practical way to make flat dice (unless your game system uses only binary numbers), but at least this way, the dice are appropriately cheap.

I may swing by a local Dollar Tree on my way home from work. The Bay Area has a lot of gamers, so these might sell out.

Haven't seen these in the UK "Poundshops" yet – but it's an interesting indicator of just how mainstream RPGs have become.

Darn, I really need some D3s right now, and they're not in there. Still, it's been a long time since I bought dice.

Gorgrat17 Sep 2021 10:00 a.m. PST

That's them!

Thresher0117 Sep 2021 12:40 p.m. PST

There are a couple of D3s in that pack Andrew:

D6 – 1 – 2 = 1, 3 – 4 = 2, 5 – 6 = 3

D12 – Double the Above Values, e.g. 1 = 1 – 4, etc.

Andrew Walters17 Sep 2021 2:20 p.m. PST

Darn, my store didn't have them.

Got some foam brushes, though.

Donna showed 'em to me when we went to Dollar tree to get halloween decorations, but I already have WAY too many dice.

Spectacularly good value, though.

Score my wife just picked me up 20 packs.

Oberlindes Sol LIC Supporting Member of TMP26 Sep 2021 4:26 p.m. PST

I did end up buying a pack. They look pretty good.

Mattw338524 Oct 2021 8:41 p.m. PST

I got every color but purple. Not bad for a buck.
