Here's a reasonably generic scenario, it'll actually cover a fair variety of periods It'll give an edge to the usual counter-insurgency games :-) link |

This scenario is right up my street. Maybe it's time to break out my old AK-47 kit and paint some more bits & pieces. More of this sort of thing, please. |

I've always enjoyed this sort of scenario :-) If you look on the blog there are a few scenarios as pdfs for free download. Some of them (including the Hellfire scenarios) might interest you. I don't know if you've got the Hell and Uncivil Disorder rules, but there's a campaign in there which is basically a 'counter insurgency' campaign set within a city |

Thanks, I'll check the scenarios out. I don't have the rules yet, but a counter-insurgency campaign sounds interesting. Didn't you write one for one of the wargames magazines some years ago? Miniature Wargames, perhaps? |

Almost certainly :-) Seriously I've lost track of a lot of stuff I've written, some of it was on a type writer, it's so long ago I like to think I improve stuff and the current iteration is better that went before, but I've probably forgotten good ideas I once had as well |

I really have to paint more civilians. |

Yes, one can never have too many :-) But at least more and more people are producing them now. |
