"Are you a hero? Doubtful. You always eat the last French fry, you screenshot conversations so you can laugh about them with your friends, and you zone out when someone's telling you a story because you just want them to shut up so you can tell your story.

Okay, I guess I don't know you or your life. You might be a hero. You might also be a villain, or an anti-hero. Which is it? Find out now or you'll never know peace…"

I'm a hero. Or may be I cheated on the test…

The ancient Greeks had a definition of "hero" that did not include any mamby pamby Eagle Scout nonsense.
They were the guys from their village who kicked ass vs the dudes from the village over.

"…and you'll lead humanity to a better tomorrow."
Doubtful.

Scout oath: "On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. "

Not mamby pamby in my book, John

You're The Good Guy! The Chosen One! The person we've all been waiting for! As the hero, you've got a lot going for you. You're skilled at practically everything, your moral compass always points due north, and you're destined to have a love interest or two. Unfortunately, you're also going to have to Go Through Some Things to become the person you were always meant to be. You might have to pay a price, or ride a dragon, or pull a sword out of something, but in the end everything will work out for the best, and you'll lead humanity to a better tomorrow.

It seems like the vast majority of protagonists in Hollywood movies are anti-heros. It's so common that it's actually refreshing to see some actual heros. Or even a villain as the lead character.

Villains or anti-heroes such as Richard III (Larry Olivier's version), Long John Silver and Professor Snape are simply more interesting characters to watch than Henry Tudor (Shakespeare's version), Doctor Livesey and Jim Hawkins, or Dumbledore.

Anti-hero: "Instead, you're a misfit loner with loose morals, and you wear a lot of black."

I do wear a lot of black.

The Greeks had no living heroes; regardless of how one fought or lived, it was a promotion and honourific title for having died in a heroic manner (i.e. witnessed by the gods).

Heroes didn't even have to be doing anything good at the time of their death. A wanted killer being murdered while taking sanctuary in a temple is as much a hero as the guy who was the first to leap of the ship and be killed on the beach at Troy.

That wanted killer — he's the Hero at whose grave the locals pour libations and honour in the hopes that he will help stem the wrath of Aphrodite because those yokels defiled her temple.

The test said I am a hero, but showed a picture of Harry Potter. Does that mean I am a douchebag, too?
