Can you watch over and over? I don't care about critical acclaim, Rotten Tomatoes, etc. What is your favorite? Call it a Cult Classic or whatever. What movie or movies have you watched MANY times? The top three for me would be The 13th Warrior, The Mummy (Brendan Frasier), and Serenity. I have no idea why, but I just can't get sick of them.

Chimpy11 Sep 2021 8:34 p.m. PST

Top three for me and my wife are: Galaxy Quest, Paul and Fanboys. We watch them every holidays. I'm sure that you can see the common theme here.

Is every year "over and over"? SWMBO wasnts The Muppet Christmas Carol on the ilst. We watch it every year. We also watch WALL-E every Valentine's Day.

… or is that more like a tradition rather than a movie you can watch over and over?

Trying to stay honest with myself and only list movies I have intentionally watched repeated times. Not necessarily the best, but fun to watch over again.

Conan the Barbarian
The 13th Warrior
Excalibur
The Lord of the Rings (actually the cartoon movie)
Jesus Christ Superstar (the music is really good)

Oberlindes Sol LIC Supporting Member of TMP15 Sep 2021 8:12 p.m. PST

I don't watch movies over and over. That being said, however:

I have seen Aliens at least 4 times and Blade Runner at least 3, both in various versions.

I've probably seen The Great Escape at least 3 times.

I have intentionally watched The Seventh Seal, Stalker, and The Seven Samurai at least 3 times each.

So that's a list:
Aliens
Blade Runner
Great Escape
The Seventh Seal
Stalker
The Seven Samurai
