I am looking for a set of skirmish rules that would work for the Anglo-Zulu war which are a level down from TMWWBK. In other words, I am looking for a rule set that is based on the individual soldier/figure instead of a unit. Any suggestions? |

Featherstone's Skirmish Wargaming is right down at the individual level, possibly too detailed but worth a look. I've played the Zulu scenario and enjoyed it. |

The old WRG Fire and Steel rules would work. We've also had excellent skirmish games using Fistful of Lead Horse and Musket… worked well for NWF skirmish games at a 1:1 level. |

My Colonial rules are designed for this sort of game, and have a Zulu supplement link

I would check One Hour Skirmish Wargame Rules by John Lambshead. I have found them very good. |

Fistful of Lead, originally written for western gunfights, is my go to for individual combat. There is also a supplement called Horse and Musket where you control a handful of miniatures: link |

Another vote for One Hour Skirmish. Neat little game system. For larger forces than The Sword And The Flame. |
