Hi guys
Can anyone suggest a retailer for a 15mm fort for Pony Wars? Prefer MDF.
Thanks

Wackmole908 Sep 2021 7:08 p.m. PST

Movie or reality? Don't mind Wackmole. I'm not into the paper terrain.

JR Miniatures also makes one.

I have been eyeing that one -but can't work out if it would work with 20mm ACW as well (at a pinch).

Don't you only need the main gate and front wall of the fort? IIRC somewhere in the rules it says the players don't know how many troops are in the fort and it's main purpose is to give reinforcements access to the game board as well as offering safety to settlers etc.

Was gonna try to build one, but any ideas on a 6mm fort?

Irregular has a 6mm "wild west fort" on their site.

You don't need the whole fort for Pony Wars, just the main gate , front walls and a couple towers for looks.

Wargamer Blue09 Sep 2021 4:53 p.m. PST

I need the whole fort. I'm a wargamer.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Some great stuff there.

That's the spirit.

Ya know, I didn't even think of looking at Irregular. Getting old and forgetful. I have their homestead already. Had it for years. It looks good.

Shouldn't be too hard to make out of toothpicks, and/or bamboo skewers.

I remember as a kid making toothpick bridges and fences back in the day. Really easy to do with a little time and some white glue.

DyeHard, maybe you could combine those two forts shown in your post of 9 September and have one nice large 15mm fort, one with six buildings and 4 blockhouses and large enough to hold two 50-men companies.
