The long awaited return of these awesome rules!

Baccus 6mm LTD has reproduced these awesome rules in a hard back
Glossy version and I can't say enough positive things about them.

I have the original Pony Wars rules and have to agree they are a great set for a multi-player game that is pure fun from beginning to end.

I backed the Kickstarter and have received my rules and cards. I really like them so far

I backed them but have not gotten my copy yet. frown

Yeah, I'm waiting on mine as well. Looking forward to getting my copy. Been buying more Blue Moon wagons, Indians, Cowboys, US army and other stuff for it. I have about 150 Cav painted for each side so far. Another 125 plus Indians to do.

'or drums'?

My copy just arrived in the mail. Both the book and the cards are top notch.

Still got my original set from 1983. Would love to play it again but will never have the time.

4DJones – refers to ‘drums beating' in the rules. From memory, it means all the hostile reinforcements build up. You should worry when the drums stop…

Backed the project, but sadly mine has yet to arrive. Hopefully it will do so soon.

A very enjoyable rules system. I still have my original set, the new version looks to have done it justice for sure. I believe Peter Guilder may have used Pony Wars back in the day, adapted to run the Dervish forces at his Wargames Holiday Centre in the UK. My local gaming group used this adapted chart and dice rolls for our own Sudan Colonial games. As I recall the Dervish opposition were extremely dangerous under this system. Forces would scout, skirmish, build up their numbers before the inevitable mass attack came in, usually at the worst possible place and time for the Imperial players.

I just put an order in. I'm looking forward to grabbing a copy.
