This is an excellent little book that I first came in contact with in 1964.

It was my introduction into field artillery.

It is highly recommended and should be read by anyone with an interest in artillery.

If anyone is interested in a hard-copy, google the title and copies available on ebay can be found, including the 1962 edition. That's the one I had and have just bought another to replace it.

I got this probably at the Vicksburg NMP.

This publication is still available through the US Government Printing Office: link

That's the 'new' cover-I have a copy of that but also just purchased the older copy with the old cover.

My brother purchased our old copy at Vicksburg NMP in 1964 along with other National Park Service publications.
