Hello All,

Thought that you may be interested in this site that I stumbled upon: link

Full of contemporary or near-contemporary books and articles, mainly covering 17th Century – 20th Century. Such as FIW, AWI, ACW, 19th century wars (Crimea, Russo-Turkish and others), Boer War, Boxer Rebellion, WWI, WWII and Cold War. Loads of free stuff, particularly pre-WWII, otherwise access requires a one-off or subscription payment.

An example of the free stuff would be the Cassell's contemporary five-volume series on the Russo-Japanese War, that can be found at: link

Happy reading,

Ezza

Yes, I just recently stubbled on this site myself. Very useful.

WOW, Thank you. Ezza…just glancing, I found a few subject areas and books I did NOT have.

Will delve into it soon.

Disaster Wargamer – Thanks for adding the Broader Index page. For which I have now spent quite a while dipping into to look at a wide range of subjects, barely making even the smallest scratch on what is available.

15th Hussar – Sounds like you have found some interesting reading already. Good to hear.

Archive.org is (WAS) a great place, as long as you're looking for books…great free library stuff abounds.

Out of that realm though, it is beginning to turn into a nightmare…
