Some old friends recently returned to me--Heritage Models Rohan figures. But as an army they're a tad understrength. They're also true 25's, which is going to hinder recruitment. Can anyone recommend a currently produced Dark Ages/Medieval line which might blend?

Thanks.

Iron Wind sells the old Ral Partha Vikings, which are 25mm:https://www.ironwindmetals.com/index.php/categories/cat-ral-partha/cat-historicals/category/vikings

Perhaps Foundry?

Are the bases beefy and square or flat and rectangular?

If they are the Heritage or Custom Cast Rohan figs Ral Partha are a good fit. I own both.

Thanks

Foundry are much larger & beefier (28mm) than Heritage/Ral Partha 25mm historicals.

I would suggest purchasing a sample box of Red Box Cimmerians. These are all 1/72, which is true 25mm (they average 23mm-25mm tall), not 20mm. They make a plethora of mini's to choose from in their Alliance figure line; some of their historical lines may suit you, but the Alliance fantasy figures are closer to what I think you need. They are soft plastic, but they paint up nicely. I own around 10 boxes of their Alliance fantasy stuff, mostly painted and played with already.

They can typically be had off of e-Bay for <$20/box, and each box typically contains 35=42 miniatures! You cannot beat them on price. The quality is excellent, IMO, as well.

Like I said above, try a sample box, to see how they compare, and if you like their quality. If you don't care for them, you can easily unload them for nearly what you paid for them. Cheers!

Those Ral Partha Vikings look like an excellent solution. Sadly, Iron Wind refuses under any circumstances to take my money, let me register for an account, or even accept e-mails from me.

Looks like scrounging through junk casting boxes at Historicon, again--as though there were going to be a Historicon.

Minifigs surely has a load of 25mm dark age miniatures? Foundry do two ranges of dark age miniatures one was sculpted by the Perry's in the 1980s and are smaller than the later released miniatures.

Robert, I will check with IWM and see why the site is not letting you register or email.
We won't be at Historicon. But if you want I can try to expedite things, just PM me your list.
