I recently painted a commission for some 28mm metal WW2 Early War French Motorcyclists. The project was an addition to an early Early War French Army, which I posted here a few weeks ago.

They were great figures to paint, very sleek and simple, as you would expect for motorcyclists!

Thanks guys!

Great work! Which manufacturer made the motorcylists?

Great work – motorcycle troops were used a fair bit in early war and at least here we don't see much of them – would love to see those bad boys on the table!

Brilliant! I second the question about which manufacturer made these figures?

They look to be Crusader Miniatures French M/C Troop …

I've been hovering around the "Add to Shopping Cart" button for a long time. These pictures erode away at my self-control.

Lucky for me I don't game in 28mm. Those are gorgeous.

Great looking figures. Are you sure these are not made by Crusader? I have those same figures and that is where I bought them. link

Nice idea to paint some of the jackets as leather jackets. I didn't see it in any of my references but it looks really cool. I may go back and redo a few.

Crusader Miniatures is sold by North Star Miniatures:

Thanks for all the comments guys, glad you like them!

I'm not too sure of the manufacturer, but I think North Star sounds right, so I'd go with Crusader Miniatures. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I saw some leather jackets from the reference photos and they just looked so good I had to add a few to the paint scheme.
