Very nice – and especially in 6mm!

Great job on these – your varied poses on the bases, along with your painting skills, really gives them a great, gritty, realistic appearance. Adler perhaps? I also do the ACW in 6mm, nothing else quite captures the feeling of massed troops in a reasonable space. Your guys look massed without looking regimented.

Great! I love 'beefy' units.

pushing tin25 Aug 2021 1:39 a.m. PST

Thanks all,

yes they are Adler, mostly mixed from various packs. I've tried to make the Union are less mixed and more uniform in appearance than the Rebs.

Massed without being too regimented was the look I was going for :)

Great painting. I confess to a partiality for 6mm for large unit games. The terrain is pretty amazing as well.

So did you like the rules???

Desert Fox25 Aug 2021 7:56 p.m. PST

Your figures look GREAT! Who is the manufacturer?

pushing tin25 Aug 2021 11:02 p.m. PST

@Desert Fox, manufacturer is Adler as discussed above :)

@dantheman, difficult to say from only one outing but I think they work quite well for a relatively quick pick up game without too much overhead learning the rules.

Nicely done and fun rules. Thank you!

That's amazing! I thought for a minute it was 15mm the detail and painting is so good. Great stuff!
