I bought a box of 6mm scenery. The buildings are pretty rough, even crude by today's standards, but certainly serviceable. But of these a few are so poorly cast I'd almost rather bin them. But waste not want not. I drilled a hole in them and made a kebab of clump foliage. Gave it a heavy coat of gray spray paint, then some black wash. I'll add flames and a dry brush of light gray, as well as painting the building bits.
