I found out today that Old Glory 25s has stopped carrying the True North WWII figures, which is a shame. They're not sure who is picking up the line or when.

I did find yet a 3rd "Old Glory" miniatures out of Bethlehem, Georgia that does seem to carry them. Anyone ever do business with these folks?

Thanks!

There may be a solution coming.

I have ordered through the 'other' Old Glory, Bluemoon figures, and service was just fine.

I hope the brand finds a new home that's willing to put in the necessary marketing as they have very unique offerings done to a very high standard that have stood the test of time. Would be a shame for them to go the way of The Late Queen.

Maybe a tad early, any update on this?

I have to confess the multiple Old Glory companies have officially confused the heck out of me. Not that hard to do but someone needs to put together a power point on the lineage of Old Glory and it's many offshoots. A directory of Old Glory companies. Shouldn't be too long of a read. Just a little short of "War and Peace." An Old Glory family tree of sorts.

Still out here wondering. I have 1939 Poles, and would like to get some more. Failing that does anyone else make Poles in 15mm?
Thanks,
Phil

@Old Contemptable

There once was a fair land called the Duchy of Old Glory. It was a magical land, far more lovely than the Earldoms of Minifigs or Essex.

Then the Arch Duke created the new Duchy of Battle Honours, and it was lovely too.

But because of complex familial interrelationships both claimed the Bishopric of ACW. After much discussion it was decided that a new Duchy of Old Glory would be created, containing an Earldom of Battle Honours, the Markgraf of Quality Casting and all lands south of the 18mm demarcation.

The original Duchy would have all lands north of the 24mm demarcation, including the shipyards of Merrimack, the principality of Blue Moon, Luxembourg, the islands of Rugen and Stettin, and a player to be named later.

The relationship with Blue Moon would later draw in, by marriage, the Province of Sash and Saber.

Think of the Old Glory's as divergent branches of the Bourbon family. Ga, Pa, UK and Michigan. They're interrelated, there is a certain resemblance, esp around the eyes, but they tend to chafe when people blur the boundaries.

Only the original Old Glory attends the Grand Balls (cons) anymore. Battle Honours used to but they decided they were too cool for school. Actually, it got to be too far and too $$$.

This was the lineage related to me by La Comptesse de la Hors'hockie, in her salon in the fashionable arrondisement of Lampeter.
