i may have asked this before, but I can't find any product like this. Does anyone make 2d mats to make city blocks? What i mean is a mouse pad or similar material with sidewalks on the edge and generic ground look in the middle. I already have a mat with asphalt and want to find something I can drop in it to make the sidewalks. I can then put buildings on top to build out my city. This method makes more sense to me but I can't find anyone who makes them. Any help? |

If you can find satellite images, you can then print them on banners at local business supply shops, or order them online. Cheers! |

That sounds like quite a good idea. I don't know of anyone who makes anything quite like that though. Closest thing I can think of is TTcombat makes MDF laser cut sidewalks |

Also, if you can still get them the Zcityscape and Ruinscape sets for Dropzone Commander had tiles and fold up buildings for that game. |

UrbanMatz do 25mm x 25mm 2D City terrain to match their asphalt mat: link Loads of pictures and a video review by Guerrilla Miniature Games. If not generic enough then you could look at a concrete/cobblestone mat and get it cut to suit. |

Extra and Jason, I've been debating on just buying a large mat with the city blocks laid out and just cutting it up, but it seems a waste. Those UrbanMatz are near perfect. May have to buy a set of those. |
