Howdy,

This was not resolved as a miniatures battle.

Result of "Engage" card, Turn 3: The Sassanids attack location M-1 from U-2.

Sassanids Attacking: G-6 (str 3) and S-9 (str 2)

Byzantines Defending: S-7 (str 2)

The Garrison will hit on a 5-6 and save on a 5-6, and the scouts will hit on a 6.

All forces are in supply.

First Round

Defending Scout, rolls 2d6: 4, 6 --- one hit on attacking Garrison.

Garrison save, roll d6: 5 --- hit saved

Attacking Scout, rolls 2d6: 4, 3 --- no hits

No Armies involved.

Defending Garrison: None

Attacking Garrison, rolls 3d6: 1, 6, 5 --- two hits

No save for Defending Scout, unit is eliminated.

The two Sassanid units occupy M-1.

More to come.

Ponder on,

JAS
