I like it.

Is this from the Early War Miniatures line?

The actual motorcycle looks quite large when compared to the crew.

Without reference, I would say it is close in size to the FAA R35 tank.

Thanks for the link to your blog! I'm planning to play the 4th DCR in 20mm, and I think your Chasseurs Portés are going to be part of it. When will the side car be added to your site?

I reeceived mine last week, and gave them a paintjob. They are top quality, as expected, since I already have painted a lot of Guilhem's minis.

What superb photography.

Of course the models and painting are too, but, well lit, against such a black background. That is clever. I had assumed these were 28mm. The sharp detail of the casting is superb

If only you could do a few 2eme DB figures. And no, they are not just US tank crew with a few markings added on their sleeves. No one, no one, does RBFM, the sailors who manned the TDs, wearing a bacchi. I do conversions to put calots onto US tank crews for Chasseurs and Spahis or Cuirassiers etc. Millicast did make an effort to show the helmet seen here but French modelling interest seems frozen into 1940.

One day…….there must be huge market over La Manche for this idea

guilhemdelyon28 Nov 2021 6:50 a.m. PST

I understand, and I am agree with you. For the moment, I paint my armys for my battle.
Than I must finish 3 projects: France 1940 soldiers at work and rest, army of finland WWII, than french modern.
After, I can think at your proposition… why not build 2e DB soldiers
For the moment , I have already some marine heads with the bachi if you want some of them.

I have a set of his sidecars (6) and the sets of the riders on foot. Fantastic sculpts and variations.
I also have his FFL to put together scenarios for Bir Hakim, May 1942 and then Alamein. They are great figs and a delight to paint. Dealing with Guilham is a pleasure. I will continue to support him in my purchases.
