Maida is a classic small Napoleonic action: British vs French, 1806. Dr Mark Smith has now turned it into a great starter scenario to introduce new junior wargamers to Napoleonic wargaming using the "Bloody Big BATTLES!" rules (BBB). It doesn't need much terrain and fits on a 4'x3' table. There are fewer than 10 units a side so it's a relatively simple command task but still has interesting variety of troops. At just 4 turns long, it can be fought in under an hour, then your new recruits can swap sides and try it again! The scenario is freely available from the files of the BBB group:
