Looking at both the paper models sold at Wargame Vault, and WRM's waterline resin models. What others are out there? And what scale (e.g 10mm?) is 1:200?

1:200 is roughly 8mm. TMP link

Flagship Models are great. I'm selling this one for $80 USD:

Most of theirs are 1/192 scale.
The are also some great paper ones by CT Ertz, again presented at 1/250 scale that can be enlarged. He gives away 4 or 5 great looking ships.
Also CSS Teaser by Adam Williams in 1/250 that can be enlarged.

Thanks, both of you. I have lots of time at home and want to try to build a few -- but yes, they are daunting. But the files are under $10 USD, plus ink to print. We'll see.

Here's a neat resin one in 1/200 scale that I just found:

You can also reduce the scale by shrinking the size, but the pieces will be smaller, and you'll need to cut the tabs out larger than marked.

Doc,
I made fifteen models at roughly 1/200th scale, I kept the hull size to ten inches. I'm pretty pleased with them. Here are photos on my flicker page, you do have to scroll down a bit. All built from foam core, heavy card, pen tubes, straws etc.

Fame at last.
Glad you have enjoyed this model I did many years go now. I did enjoy designing paper ship models using SketchUp after being inspire by corey Ertz's models. Have a look on the papermodelers.com forum for lot of inspirational work.

Just found a pic of the CSS Teaser model form our Hampton Roads game. This was the model I made in 1:150 scale which is the scale I use for 15mm models. I find it gives a good sized model but is slightly more manageable than a 1:100 model. I usually vertically 'stretch' the superstructure a little bit so that it looks a better fit for the figures.

Of interest may be modelsnmoore.com which has some great models :)
