I've seen a few interesting images of this concept. A post apocalyptic, post-Napoleonic fantasy world mashing medieval with early 19th century and lots of rotting tubulars. Looks like the rules are evolving.

Has anyone jumped in? Made figures? Played the rules? I'm tempted…

Not remotely tempted. I'm supposed to build figures--which would be no use for anything else--for "evolving" rules, and just what exactly by way of interesting tactical situations?

Rules or scenarios for the castings I already own will get a much more favorable response.

Doesn't sound like it's gone past the concept phase.

The rules themselves are free and I believe they were designed by authors of One Page Wargames. The idea is very much inspired by the artwork and feel of John Blanche artwork but placed in a type of different setting. The idea is that you can kitbash all those extras from the various 28mm plastic kits with the addition of some green stuff to create your forces. I get enough of the freebie sprues from Wargames Illustrated that the whole endeavor will probably cost me an additional $30 USD-40 out of pocket.

While the rules are out there in a loose format, Sludge has stepped up to replace them. They are in the 3rd release of Blaster.

The majority of Sludge related goings on are on Facebook in the associated group sadly.

I have a couple of friends interested in both sets of rules. Likely go with sludge. The whole idea is interesting and looks like a fun distraction.

I'm having a great time building and converting models for this. I think it is more of a Kitbashers ans world builders paradise at the minute, but there are free rules that look solid (waiting until I have full forces to play).

I am not tempted by the concept.
