As I work on my gaming projects, I am often placing things in temporary places. Things get piled haphazardly. It all might fall down any moment, but it's OK because I know I'll get back and put things away properly… shortly.

So I placed a tray of painted figures in a precarious place, knowing they were secure because there was a nice, heavy object balancing everything out.

But then I needed to put the heavy object somewhere else, which I did…

Minutes later, something toppled. Well, actually, it flipped. And the painted figures from the tray went… airborne! I couldn't even find them at first. I was laughing at myself.

The story would be perfect if the figures were actually airborne soldiers. No, but they were armed with anti-aircraft weapons. grin

(I did find them. They were unharmed.)

That's how you use anti-aircraft weapons at short range, you have to go to the target. Glad they survived the experience.

Bill,
has your blood pressure gone back to normal? Whew, that's a
nightmare all of us have. Great that you found them and
nothing broke!

On the one hand, reading about started to trigger PTSD from my own adventures in clumsiness. On the other hand, the laughter pretty much put the PTDS down.

What I learned is don't cover a large model in spray primer and then drop it into dryer lint. No one wants a fluffy Ogre Mark V.
