Triangle Miniatures website lists both the 28mm white metal Perry Miniatures French Artillerists: link and the French figures by Front Rank: link I've not ordered from Triangle in quite some time, but past service has been reliable and prompt. What about Fife and Drum miniatures? Can't you use the 7 years war french artillerists from their Minden 7YW line? |

No. The uniform is completely different. If I'm going to fake it, I'll use generic British/Continental artillerists. (Sorry, Jim!) |

Can't you use the 7 years war french artillerists from their Minden 7YW line? One of Gribeauval's changes to the old Valliere system included a uniform change. From then on the French artillery would wear dark blue-breeches, coat, and vest. Gaiters would be white in summer and black in winter and usually so in the field. |
