First off, I really like these rules and have played several times. Where is a good source for smaller scenarios (I have the two scenario books)? And, what is your method for making the command labels? |

I use Excel to make the command labels. Just set the cell size to fit the base. I find I can get the type into a slightly bigger font than in the books. for scenarios, you can't go wrong with books on wargame vault by Historic Imagination (Brad Butkovich). but to be honest, you're kinda boned for smaller scenarios if your looking for 2-3 regiments (or 1 brigade) a side. Most scenario books will include a smaller scenario but most are a few brigades a side minimum. you can always just take a bigger scenario that takes place on a 6x4 ish table and cut a 4x4 section out of it? I also really like Regimental Fire and Fury, and for some silly reason I keep buying other ACW rulesets just to play them once or twice and then go back to RFF. : ) |

There is a Generic Unit Label template in the Player Aids for RFF on the RFF Support page of the publisher's website – you can use this create your own labels. For smaller scenarios for Brigade Fire and Fury, I tend to use scenarios published for regimental level rules (JRIII, GHQ's rules, Guns at Gettysburg), and combine the regiments into brigades, have 1 or 2 divisions per side. I have found plenty of these available. |

Wargames Illustrated issues 69,70,71 had Fire and Fury small battle scenarios in them. Jackson at Antietam, Second day of Iuka and Ox Hill. All fun scenarios. These are very old issues but worth it if you can find them. Hope this helps, Tom D |
