Thanks. If I don't order now, it will be that much longer.

I thought the most dangerous man in Europe was Bomber Harris. Is there a poll question here?

So, not Adolf, Joseph, or George S. Patton, eh?

Very nice looking figs, but Wow(!!!), $7.50 USD plus shipping for a single fig???

The bar HAS been raised once again. My wallet hurts just thinking about that.

Offensive Miniatures also has a Skorzeny.

However, it seems you can only get him as a freebie and with a Mussolini as in the Gran Sasso operation.

I always feel that Skorzeny's reputation was not as well deserved as it seems. A lot of what he was involved in did not go well and he had a habit of taking unearned credit and abandoning potential failure. Certainly his arrival first at Gran Sasso was pure accident and his subsequent actions almost farcical. Cramming himself in with Mussolini and Gerlach in the Storch was down right dangerous and effectively he abandoned his , mostly useless, SS team with the Fallschirmjaegers while he headed back to Germany to bask in the (undeserved) glory.

I paid about that for a couple from North Star, lately, Thresher. I figure the armies are done, so if I want to pay an insane price for a command figure or special it's more a matter of annoyance.

The one that catches my eye and appears, sadly, to no longer be available is Bolt Action's figure. At one time apparently, it was available with a book, and later if you purchased three DFS 230 gliders and a box of Fallschimjager.

However, to add to the Skorzeny mystique, and perhaps in violation of the Dawg House rules, I will offer a bounty of 50 USD to anyone who would sell, (price included), the Bolt Action Skorzeny to me by September 1st. Already painted is OK.
