Hello everyone,

Please, does anyone know where to find 28 mm WOTR mounted trumpet figures like the ones pictured on page 150 (drawing # 130) from Ian Heath's book, Armies of the Middle Ages, Volume 1: The Hundred Years' War, the Wars of the Roses and the Burgundian Wars, 1300-1487, Wargames Research Group, 1982?
Crusader Miniatures has this trumpet (reference MEW 101), but the figure is too big for me.

Thank you

If you can't find a ready-made figure to your specification, the command sprue from the Perry WotR infantry box has a trumpeter arm (and some heads with civilian hats), which perhaps could be used with either of the two mounted herald figures in their personalities packs WR4 or WR5. Also, the WR17 Scurrers command pack has a mounted trumpeter.

Front Rank have a pair of mounted trumpeters, but I'm guessing that they will be too big for you too?
WRC25 Trumpeter in leg armour and soft hat
WRC26 Trumpeter in slashed sleeved Tabard and Kettle hat

Mirliton have a couple
MC008 Trumpeter, mounted, 1450
MC011 Trumpeter with sallet, mounted

Thank you both ,

WRC 25 Trumpeter in leg armor and soft hat, that's almost it!

But Front Rank no longer accepts orders …

Nothing else ?

Paskal, That will only probably be a temporary "no longer accepts orders", as they catch up with their orders (and holiday). Check back regularly and you should be able to get an order in. I was lucky last month grin

I have WoTR from Athena, Front Rank, Foundry, Mirliton, Perry, Crusader & Steel Fist; there must be others out there, but I'm not that knowledgeable.
