Garri Merkviladza was credited with 13 personal and 2 shared victories, for which he was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union. The model represents his aircraft while flying with the 152 GIAP, 1st Ukrainian Front in the spring of 1945. The inscription reads "I take revenge for Vanya Korniyenko". Inch High Guy blog: link |
