These are the first completions for my Maori Wars Project. I've completed the forces for the First Maori War of the 1840s, which sees British infantry in red coats. I have about 50 Maoris, with similar numbers of British, comprising infantry, sailors and militia.

Outstanding figures, indeed, but the paint jobs are the proof--and excellent. At the risk of opportunistic promotion, TVAG provides a range of card stock of 28mm Maori buildings and the components for a building a Pa of any size. Just the ticket to help populate a table and provide tactical detail. On display on their page here: link And dip of my colors to Ostrowski! TVAG |

That is a project dear to my heart, too. And very nicely painted, too. I like the idea of the bullock-drawn limber – something I must add to my colonial New Zealand Wars force. |

Thanks for the tip off for those buildings TVAG. I must invest in some! Arteis02 – I got the idea from this amazing diorama, (Also, I think you'd need bullocks for the weight of those naval guns): link |

That is some truly stunning modeling work – and all by one man. Some serious dedication. |

Ostrowski! You're most welcome for the tip, but thanks to you for not minding me "slip streaming" your original post. Hey, if you have Maori's, you've got to have Wharenui! TVAG |
