We got in our first game of the fun ruleset, Blood & Plunder. Looking forward to another game this coming week. Read all about it and see more than 60 photos of our game at my blog, Scrum in Miniature!

Looks like a lot of fun, but I get nervous when a cat takes to the tabletop!

"get nervous when a cat takes to the tabletop"

Don't. I have been owned by cats all my life and of course had them both on the wargame table and on the painting table. They were always very careful not to throw anything. If one decided to take a nap in the middle of a battle, marching forward with any troops was a clear signal to move elsewhere.

My first cat used to look at me, then paw at a dice, then look at me again while she then batted the die off the table. She was very good with moving Around the table. I miss here even after 8 years.

My new cats are clumsy and knock over trees and such. I can't have them in the room when I am flocking bases. I tried and it didn't go well at all.

Nice report – I see some figs on the table that are a blast from the past – GW gunners on that tower; great work!

I noticed those GW Empire figures too, how do they match size-wise with the Firelock figures? The GW Empire militia/Mordheim figures make nice-looking pirates.

The GW figures seem to match up quite well with the Firelock figures. I didn't notice any issues, and I'm usually pretty sensitive to that sort of thing.
