Quite niche this, but what was the most common colour for German motorcycles in Normandy in 1944? Particularlly in the Fallschirmjager units? Was it the yellow, the grey or camouflaged? Any ideas or recommended sources would be appreciated.

I typically do all equipment coming out of the factory post Africa as dark yellow. Field applied camo is optional and common. Just my rule of thumb.

Makes sense. The few colour (or coloured) photos I have seen seem to be the yellow colour.

Pretty much all the German transport in Normandy had one shade or another of dunkelgelb

Who makes the best Dunkelgelb acryllic? Vallejo? Mig?
