Happy Bastille Day to all and sundry.

I like your mercenaries. I'm a great believer in ancient and medieval troops wearing off-whites and sheep colors generally.

Brechtel: I need to go out and see if they have Bastille Day M & Ms. Of course, they are actually the red, white, and blue 4th of July M & Ms, but for Bastille Day they get repurposed as blue, white, and red!

Nice job! My old Essex Cretans are in black. Yours look great. I'm happy you liked the shield inspirations!

Jeff,

Thanks for your excellent website, there are so many good articles. It is currently inspiring me to finish my Pyrhhic army.

Im happy you are enjoying the Pyrrhic items. I was hoping to get back and clean up much of that soon, and add some more content, but projects pile up. I still want to finish an Aventine elephant as an Epirote one and some of their fine models that I have not yet painted.
I especially like some of the dark tunics in the latest Osprey on Pyrrhus's army.
