I'm puzzled why this called "largely unknown", when I read about it in High School. Ditto referring to the Soviet invasion of Poland in 1939 as "forgotten". |

Ditto. Maybe unknown in Britain (Mr. Felton sounds British) but not in Americca. Especially the Russian invasion of Poland. |

Invasion is a bit liberal with that term, French advances on a front doesn't make a invasion. |

You got that right ! The ignorance of many of our history is astounding. As we see in some cases even tearing down statues. As opposed having historical markers, etc., explaining/discussing the who, what, why, when, how, etc., of this individual(s). Which must include the good, the bad and the ugly of history. But again most don't know 💩 or care about history … even their own … |
