I bought a box on their recent release but had another project filling my painting table so l got an old friend at my club, Phil Turner, to paint them up for me and l am very pleased with how they turned out.

They just need a dusty street and a tumbleweed rolling by, and they're all set for a showdown.
Beautifully done.

Of course, being a picky soul, I have to mention that tumbleweed didn't enter the USA (South Dakota) till 1877, and the Pacific coast till about 1900!
Its a bit like putting Saguaro cactuses in westerns away from its natural Arizona desert!

Glad to see those figures painted, I have a couple of boxes and needed inspiration to paint them!

@Herkybird, I watched a lot of cheesey Westerns as a kid. There always seemed to be a tumbleweed rolling by just before the big gunfight 🙂

Nice mini – and I agree that nothing precedes a gunfight better than a lonely tumbleweed
