I found this article to be quite interesting on several levels. Neadertal art, medieval 'scams', the massive size of a deer in prehistory, etc.

What I find interesting is that, as a child, I read all these things about pre-history as if they were facts. It seems they were not facts but theories based on but little evidence. Learning how to learn appears to be an important activity.
