There are starting to be several companies, patreons, etc. of units for people to 3d print armies for warmaster. Just curious, are there many people here doing such?

If you are doing such? what scale are you printing them? staying in 10mm or enlarging to 15mm or even 1/72 or 28mm?

While I have not personally played warmaster, I think it good to see people starting to produce stls for actual existing games, even old ones!

If your printing any of these, what game are you using them in, Warmaster? or other games.

If a person had a resin printer, one could quite cheaply have a entire warmaster army in a day or two, not counting painting. and for very little money you could give a friend an entire army to paint also.

There are loads and Warmaster appears to have jumped in popularity. My son and I are printing off armies in 10mm. I already had a GW High Elf army and got an Empire one from a buddy. I will be printing of a few others. We are also looking at Kings of War and maybe Fantasy regiments with them. I just bought Fantastic Battles so that is another possibility.

Thanks

John

I have three of these forces printed. They are amazing and have really re-ignited my love for this best of GW games. Completely worth it. The Facebook group is a good start.

The reddit Warmaster thread is great as well.

Took me about five days of printing on my Elegoo Saturn to hit about 5000 points of Wood Elf figures from Forest Dragon, which was complete overkill. Planning on using them for Warmaster.

Ive printed a bunch of the Forest Dragon undead and humans but in 15mm to match my 15mm armies. I also printed in 15mm a few miniatures meant for 28, with good result, but downscaling you sometimes have to be more picky about what you choose then upscaling by one or two sizes. With 3d printing, you could play warmaster just as easily at 15mm ( or 20, or 28mm) which still keeps the smallness but gives a little better visibility to the models.

As O said above, one of the nice things about 3d printing a army such as the warmaster armies that are coming available, is you could fairly cheaply just give a army to a friend to get him hook, and it wouldnt cost a person much more than 20$ to get someone else into gaming. Has any body given a friend a army yet?

Yep, printing Forest Dragon undead for a mate so I've someone to play with. Challenge is time, not cost for me!
