Most pre-20th Century rulesets give players more control over their troops than their historical counterparts would have had. On a scale of 10 (super) to 0 (none), how interested would you be in a ruleset that put historical limits on your troop control?

i can see both sides, too realistic doesn't make much of a game.

too little is pretty arcade-like.

6.5-6 sounds about right.

Isn't this just a variation on the old, "do you play with toy soldiers, or do you have serious tabletop simulations" question?
