I am getting into WW1 Wings of Glory. In my searches I noticed talk of maneuver decks that appear to be fan-produced (deck 'XB' & etc.) Where would I get my hands on such decks? It looks like the wingsofwar.org website had these at one time but now there appears to be some kind of problem with that site.

Does anyone have some insight into what's up with that site or another source?

I made a whole series of the manoeuvre decks back when it was wings of war that had a few custom cards as well. such as diving turns etc

these all had photo realistic backgrounds that used google earth images of the Somme area in France

i still have the files somewhere on an old disc i will look them out and see if i can find them

I used to be a member of the forum and was known as Druid_ian on there

That would be great! Thank you.

My hope is to game the Somme 1916 as a series of 'bite and hold' combats using modified Flames of War, Great War, combined with some aerial action using Wings of Glory. As I'm sure you know, most of the aircraft of this period are the fan-created ones so your assistance is much appreciated.

Wow, that would be great if you can find those files!

Thanks

The XA, XB etc. decks are official decks. You can find them in the bomber packs or the "Flight of the Giants" box (if you can find one, although I did pick up a couple of French edition boxes online for a fiver each a couple of years ago)

I'm specifically looking for maneuver decks for the British fe2b and be2c. I've seen the 'J' deck has been used for the fe2b and the 'P' and also the 'XD' decks for the be2c.

I'm also trying to put together some German opponents besides the Fokker Eindecker that would be suitable for the summer and fall of 1916.

I should add that I'm quite capable of making my own cards. I'll be just fine once I know the composition of the 'J' and 'P' decks.

Drummer,

Here ya go -- link Just download and print them out.

You also might want to join the Forum on the Wings of Glory Aerodrome site. There are decks available there as well. link

I just logged onto the Aerodrome site and had no problem gaining access.

Wow. Thanks guys! Now if I can just figure out how to actually download these zipped files. Hmm…

the filedropper link has a download button and windows should unzip them for you or help you find a file that will do it

Thanks for posting the files.

Thanks again guys. I got ColCampbell's link to work but I couldn't get 55th Division's to work. I think because I have to subscribe to a service or download a web browser of something.

I found all the maneuver decks I needed except the "T" deck.

I'd just buy an Eindecker from Ares but it seems to be discontinued or something.
