In 358, news of the impending campaign by Shapur II against Rome emboldened a number of leaders of the royal houses in Sassanid occupied Armenia, to seize the opportunity to rebel against their overseers. Report of the uprising and Sassanid response can be found at the blog:

So do both battles go on record in the campaign or only the first? |

Both are parts of a campaign. The Armenian were recently refurbished and using them in a few battles was the idea. The idea of a campaign developed as a consequence. A third battle should appear this coming week.
