Gentlemen, While this particular project is about 130 years outside of the "right boundary" of my main period of interest, it was still educational, engaging, and enjoyable. Here is the link to my very amateur blog: link Thanks for taking the time to visit. Cheers, Chris |

Thanks for the report. Weighty read but informative. For your next foray in the TYW you might take a look at Tercios: Liber Militium. A one unit is one element ruleset for the period. On Military Matters should have a copy. |

Cool battle report! You mention wanting to revisit the TYW and possibly refight Lutzen. We have a Lutzen scenario for my Cuius Regio system, which would work very well with your miniatures-free approach. You can find it here: link and the rules here (for free!) link |

MM1 – Yeah, sorry about the "weight." I wanted to be thorough and explain how I arrived at the OBs, etc. Perhaps two or three installments for a future TYW piece, if I venture this way again? Thanks for the reference to Tercios: Liber Militium. PG – Thanks very much. Thanks for the link to the CR system. This deserves closer attention and study. Cheers, Chris |
