* Battle of the Pyramids, 21 July 1798
* Battle of Verona, 26 March 1799
* Battle of Mount Tabor, 16 April 1799
* Battle of Winterthur, 27 May 1799
* Battle of the Trebbia (17–20 June 1799
* Battle of Marengo, 14 June 1800
* Battle of Hohenlinden, 3 December 1800 If there is another Napoleonic land battle that is your favourite from this period, please nominate it.

Marengo is the most interesting. French get hit at an almost 2-1 disadvantage, hold on just with the reinforcements which do arrive, pull back and then once the final corps are added, strike back. Not many battles as interesting, although i must admit battle of nations is pretty good as well. |
