Hey there guys, As many of you know, i've been collecting a Spanish Napoleonic Army and i'm at the point of wondering now what other units I can add to the army. I have 42 battalions of infantry, 6 units of cavalry and 5 batteries of artillery link Any other suggestions? Regards J |

I couldn't tell whether you have any Irish or Swiss regts. Nor whether you have any of the 'new' regts like the Vol. Literarios de Valladolid, mnay of which had interesting flags and uniforms (or near uniforms anyway). The Colorados are another interesting one (though I think Bueno's illustration should probably have white breeches or perhaps white overalls rather than grey as IIRC the British hadn't settled on them at the time). |

Sounds a bit light on cavalry given the number of different types: cavalry, dragoons, hussars & cazadores – not to mention mounted guerrillas. |

I would look it differently What do you want to do with the figures ?
What battles would you like to re-create ? Then look at what might be missing based on the answers to those questions 42 battalions is more than I can conceive of at the moment, I have 5 so far with lead for another 10 … John |
