Off topic but the Lithuwania (SP) film "1944" is first rate. It follows locals in both the German and Russian Armies. First half is from the German side, second half from the Russian. Uniforms and weapons are perfect for the period. Seeing Stg-44s in action was a treat. A very fine film. It is also dubbed so well you would swear the actors were speaking English. I saw it through Amazon Prime. |
