The eager recruits, keen to get at their French opponents, are initiated into the horrors of modern warfare as the French artillery brings an effective barrage down on the station.

Officers attempt to regulate the chaos and restore order.

I thought that it had an All Quiet on the Western Front feel to it.

Great diorama and good to see some old Airfix mixed in there. The Airfix WW1 Germans were one of my favourites.
