"nws wargaming store" Topic

So I've read a lot of praise online for this store and their prices are hard to beat. I placed an order with them months ago for flames of war items and I'm still waiting for them to come in.

My first question-is this normal for NWS wargaming store? The second is if there something going on with Battlefront's distribution? Items I ordered online from NWS and another online retailer have been OOS for months, meanwhile my FLGS has had the same items recently restocked.

My experience was slow too. But in the end my order did arrive.

There definitely is something wrong with Battlefront's distribution.

Orders in their system don't seem to generate a restock if they are out of an item. At least that's what I gathered when I talked to customer service.

Only have had good service from NWS

He is slow at times. Also, he will add stuff once a manufacturer releases to retailers. He has always come through, but you do have to be a little patient for his good prices. I am a repeat customer.

Great store, but battlefront at the moment is quite iffy, but the deal is worth any wait

NWS has great prices, man is he slow. If you can wait a few months he's fine.

Always had dependable service and as others have said cant beat the prices. Have a current order in that is taking a bit of time but given the various manufacturers involved, some overseas, it is understandable. He did give me the option to have him ship what was ready but I opted to wait for the whole order. Adding to things he is just finishing up a move into a new warehouse. Bottom line he may be a bit slow at times but great prices and always comes through.

I have had good, fast service from him on multiple orders. However I always order in stock items as I have heard that restocks can be slow. Email him as I have found him responsive via email.

Hi, thank you for your support. As many many may know already NWS is undergoing a major expansion in terms of warehouse space.. including a new receiving warehouse, wargame warehouse, and a minis warehouse overhaul – many other logistical and shipping upgrades in the background are also underway.

Presently all of the expansions and upgrades are about 75% completed but orders are still going out as fast as possible. Most all minis shown on the store as "inbound restock" are actually already here, just working through on getting caught up with shipping product out with all the changes going on.

That is the short version for now.. I am hoping to complete the upgrades by around the end of this month if possible. If anyone needs anything shown on my store ASAP please contact me directly immediately after ordering.

Overall.. this is the largest operations expansion/upgrade of NWS ever done.. at first it was planned to do the upgrades in phases.. but I was able to get some good rates on expansion space that I could not turn down so it is all getting done at the same time.

Please keep watch of the store news and again thank you all for your patience and understanding as I think all these upgrades and expansions will be well worth the effort.

BFM is mostly, but soon to be entirely, offered as "ready shelf" or "restocking" (not immediately available to order) now.. BFM product lines are a bit tricky to work with so I felt it best to go that route. I can take special orders but it can take a few weeks for some of their line to arrive. I will be trying to stock what I can of their line as I go, mostly the Team Yankee products.
