I am in need of some figures for Very British Civil War railway workers. Basically jacket with vest and tie, trousers and a flattened kepi. Just the man. See here. link |

In English that 'vest' is a waistcoat – a vest here is worn under the shirt. |

I would be happy to find a British figure depicted with a waistcoat or an American figure depicted with a vest. |

ColC, thanks. I started at VBCW but thought wider exposure here would find something to convert. Jeff. good catch but, £16.00 GBP to get one figure when I want a squad is too much :) |

Armed or unarmed? Maybe ironclad miniatures telegram rifles could fit, if you want guns in hands, the hats seem about right jackets are done up though so no waistcoats sadly link

Prince, thanks for helping out.. Good call/ Unarmed or armed is good I already have the Ironclad Telegraph Rifles and (all the rest of their excellent VBCW figures ) . Also Old Glory US Marines from Vera Cruz both for other units. link I was hoping to find something a bit different. |

AHH fair enough they're aren't to many VBCW ranges if you are into the era you probably know them all. Years ago when I made an armoured train for my VBCW forces I used Copplestone castings British naval officers as train inspectors.
