I really like the Ocean mat from Tablewar mats (https://tablewar.com/collections/fatmats/products/6x4ocean) Although the waves may look a little big for 1/6000 scale ships. I have some photos of my mat with different scale ships on my blog (https://seanavalgazing.blogspot.com/2019/11/new-naval-gaming-mat.html). |

Go to a fabric store. Look for cotton fabric with a "school icture day" background print on it. Comes in a huge variety of colors, including 2 or 3 blues. Very cheap and looks great. Comes in 6' wide bolts, usually $4.99 USD per yard, cheaper on sale:

I bought an ocean blue king size bed set. My table is 72 x 90". It could handle a table that is that is 96"x96". The right price at Wally Mart. John Kelly |
