I have been looking for 15/18mm Prussian Guard figures that do not have shako covers, so the Guard star is visible and they have the large "marshmallow" plumes. I was wanting top tier figures like AB, Battle Honors, or Blue Moon but no luck. The closest I can find are Old Glory Prussian Grenadiers. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer?

Thanks!

AB most definitely!!!

Old Glory 15s and Miniature Figurines are the only companies I know of that make prussian guard in full dress….

Thank you for the replies.

@mako, I agree AB WOULD be the best choice, but they don't make Prussian Guard in parade dress.

@Patrick, your comment supports what I have been able to find out. The Old Glory Prussian are not, in my opinion, the best figures OG has released, but may well be what I will wind up with as they seem to be the best that fit the bill. I know this might upset some people, but I really don't like the " toy soldier" look and the awkward poses of Minifigs.

Could you "cheat" by using RUSSIAN figures with the big Busch plume?

It's not an original idea. You might have to remove shako cords and cuff flaps.

Take a look at this – Jemima Fawr doing exactly that.

Mine are those long gone Heritage figures, full Busch plumes. I think it's best to use parade uniforms for the garde

@ Speculus,
"I know this might upset some people, but I really don't like the " toy soldier" look and the awkward poses of Minifigs."

Not upset at all. We all have our preferences. I'm a little bit "Old School." To avoid the Minifig awkward poses, maybe consider the Prussian 'March Attack' pose. It's not an awkward pose in my opinion.

I know you don't like Minifigs, but here are two of my three battalion Prussian 2nd Guard Grenadiers. These figs are 3rd generation Minifigs.

1st Battalion, 2nd Guard Grenadiers

2nd Battalion, 2nd Guard Grenadiers

Thanks for looking.
