I have quite a few for a project I never did – something I can help with? There is also a facebook roco collectors group that might be able to help |

I used to, and they are very nice, but I'm looking to divest some if not all, since I've switched scales. Last I recall reading, a year or two ago, even Herpa (the new owner of ROCO) was going out of business, and divesting of their stock. |

I have a few as long ago I found HO vehicles matched 15mm figures pretty well. I also use HO buildings, some track and trees for the same reason. |

I have a large collection of WW2 and "modern." (Conquerors through Leopard 2A6). I also use them with 15mm figures. |

Here is the real story on Roco Minitanks. Roco had a marketing agreement with Herpa. Herpa sold but did not manufacture Roco Minitanks. That agreement expired and Herpa choose not to renew. The Roco Minitanks line then went up for sale and was not in production for over a year. It was purchased by ARsenalM which took about a year to get Minitanks back into production. Only a few of them are in production currently, ArsenalM has plans to produce most maybe all of them adding a few each year. Fidelis Models, TMP sponsor, buys and sells new and used Roco Minitanks. And about 20+ other brands of HO military and civilian vehicles. fidelismodels.com There is a Roco Minitanks Facebook group that I Admin. link Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |

I remember the original price of the minitanks and about a year ago I started collecting them again, starting over from scratch. Needless to say they are reasonably priced now but not at 1960 levels, unfortunately. There are quite a few for sale on ebay, and I'm building up my new collection slowly with some from other makers as well. The Roco Panzer Mark III is a beautiful model and the artillery pieces are excellent. |

Down memory lane, the original S&T magazine (before games were added). Lots of miniature game write ups and rules. Ad for Minitanks showing a Sherman tank for $.25 USD – that's right a quarter. |

Brechtel198 I did a series on the Roco Panzer III and a lot of conversions all of which are very easy. Here is one page of it. link Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |

I have a Roco T-34 that I include in my tank units of ESCI T-34's. What it lacks in size, it makes up in viciousness… ;-) |

Alas, as a teen I had hundreds, at $.25 USD-.50 they were easy to collect along with the fifty cent airfix boxes. But then my interests turned to other than WW2 and the Mini-tanks got relegated to boxes under shelves in the basements, and repurposed and taken over by by brother, whose main interest in miniatures was burning them :( Now, I have one. They saw me through a formative period in gaming, 50 years ago and I remember them fondly. Is it true they were put together by Austrian criminal prisoners in jails? I also had a large collection of Dinky vehicles, which I have recreated for my VBCW armies. See Roco vehicles here link |
